What Should You Pack for Antalya?
Antalya enjoys warm to hot weather most of the year, so pack light, breathable clothing! In summer, you’ll want to bring plenty of light shirts, shorts, and dresses for those hot, sunny days. Spring and fall are more comfortable, but you should still pack a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings. Winters are mild, but it can get rainy, so a rain jacket or umbrella is a good idea. Don’t forget your swimsuit if you’re planning to hit the beach! Comfortable shoes are key for exploring the old town and hiking trails.
Make sure you’re prepared for: Visiting Konyaaltı Beach, exploring the Old Town (Kaleiçi), visiting the Antalya Museum, hiking in the Taurus Mountains, and taking a boat tour along the coast.
Dress Code
Antalya has a relaxed, beachy vibe, so casual attire is appropriate for most activities. Swimsuits and coverups are fine for beach days, but if you’re visiting mosques or historical sites, pack something modest to cover your shoulders and knees. For evenings out at restaurants or bars, smart-casual outfits like dresses or linen pants work well. If you plan on hiking in the Taurus Mountains, wear proper hiking gear. Comfortable, light clothing is perfect for Antalya’s sunny climate.
