Welcome to Cebu City in the Spring!
Travel Dates: March, April, May
Spring in Cebu City is hot and humid, so lightweight and breathable clothing is key. Start your day with a short sleeve shirt and pair it with light pants or a skirt to stay cool. A hat and sunglasses are essential for sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes will help with exploring the city’s attractions. Given the humidity and occasional rain, it’s a good idea to carry a light rain jacket or a small umbrella. If you’re planning on spending time at the beach, don’t forget your swimsuit and a cover-up.
Dress Code
Cebu City has a relaxed, tropical vibe, so casual and comfortable clothing is ideal for most activities. During the day, lightweight clothing like shorts, skirts, and t-shirts are perfect for exploring the city’s historical sites and enjoying outdoor activities. If you’re visiting churches or religious sites, it’s respectful to wear modest clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. For the evenings, smart casual attire is suitable for dining out or enjoying the nightlife. Given the warm weather, you’ll want to keep your outfit light and breathable, but don’t forget a light jacket for air-conditioned venues.

- Luggage Tags: Even if you’re not checking luggage, still good to have in case you misplace your bags.
- Luggage Locks: Can be handy even if you’re not checking luggage, making your backpack more pickpocket-proof.
- Sleep Mask: An eye mask is a game changer for helping you get quality sleep each night.
- White Noise Machine: Same as above. White noise machines have helped me get more consistent sleep.
- Ear Plugs: Much better than the generic foam ones that never stay in my ears.
- Jewelry Case: Especially nice for organizing necklaces and not getting them all tangled.
- Dry Bag: An item to bring if you plan to do a lot of water activities or boat trips.
- Water Shoes: Same as above. Great to bring if you plan to do water activities or boat trips.

- Deck of Cards / Fox in the Forest: I love playing card games while traveling. It’s a fun way to pass the time.

- Universal Travel Adapter: This universal adapter works in 200+ countries. Great for airports too.
- E-sim: I’ve used Airalo in four different countries now, and it’s the best solution for using data abroad.
